
A two-vehicle accident resulted in the death of a Mountain Home man Sunday evening. According to the Arkansas State Police, 58-year-old Tommy McBride was killed after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on the Sheid-Hopper Bypass in Mountain Home.
Both vehicles were traveling westbound in the outside lane near the State Highway 5 overpass. McBride reportedly lost control of his motorcycle while changing lanes and was struck by the other vehicle. He was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The unidentified driver of the other vehicle was not injured in the 5:56 p.m. accident.
