Michael Putland/Getty ImagesA new Paul Feig movie called Last Christmas will feature unreleased songs by George Michael, reports the U.K. paper The Guardian.

Variety additionally reports that the movie, which will star Henry Golding and Emilia Clarke, will be released November 15, 2019.  It’s a romantic comedy set in London during the holiday season, and features Emilia as Kate, who works as an elf in a Christmas store.  She meets Tom, played by Golding, which leads to romance.

In addition to the unreleased music, the movie — as the title suggests — will also use Wham!‘s holiday classic, “Last Christmas”

The script is being written by Emma Thompson and comedian Bryony Kimmings.  Kimmings told The Radio Times over the summer, “When I came on board, George was up for it. He’d already signed something to say yes.”

Kimmings said she tried to include the kind of “queer politics,” as she puts it, that George was interested in, but she said, “I don’t know how much of that remains!”

George died on Christmas Day 2016 at the age of 53.
