The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will be joined at the shows by acclaimed country/bluegrass artist Marty Stuart and his group The Fabulous Superlatives.
The concerts are the latest in a series of performances Steve has given at Jazz at Lincoln Center in which he explores the various forms of the blues. Marty will co-host the shows, which also will feature other as-yet-unannounced guests. A free discussion also will be held prior to both events. Visit Jazz.org to purchase tickets and find out more information about the concerts.
Stuart is a multiple Grammy winner who frequently collaborated with Johnny Cash. Earlier this year, he and The Fabulous Superlatives accompanied founding Byrds members Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman on a tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Byrds’ influential country-rock album, Sweetheart of the Rodeo.
Miller spent much of this year touring with Peter Frampton. After this week’s shows in New York City, he has two more dates left on his 2018 schedule, headlining gigs on December 29 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and December 30 in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
