PERRYVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Arkansas State Police say a 36-year-old suspect has been taken into custody following the deaths of a man and a woman in central Arkansas.

Records indicate that 36-year-old Bobby Wyles was being held Sunday in the Perry County Detention Center in Perryville, about 34 miles (55 kilometers) northwest of Little Rock.

KATV reports that a Perryville police officer who responded to reports of a disturbance about 11 p.m. Saturday saw two men fighting and one, identified as Wyles, was armed with a knife.

The officer ordered Wyles to drop the knife and took him into custody. Records do not indicate that Wyles is represented by an attorney.

Authorities identified the victims as 32-year-old Susie Fuller and 36-year-old Jerry Drinkwater. Their bodies have been transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory.
