
High school basketball makes up the local Tuesday schedule as Mountain Home will wrap up its current home stand. Conference play continues for the Bombers and Lady Bombers as they meet Greene County Tech.
Mountain Home’s girls are currently 8-6 on the season and 0-1 in the 5A-East. The Lady Bombers began league action Friday with a ten-point loss to Jonesboro. Tech is 7-5 and 0-1. The Lady Eagles were edged out by Nettleton four days ago.
The Mountain Home boys are 5-8 on the year and 0-1 in the conference. The Bombers wrapped up the previous week with a loss to Jonesboro. Tech is 11-2 and 0-1. The Golden Eagles ended up losing to Nettleton.
The junior varsity games tip off at 5 p.m. The varsity contests will begin at 6:00 and can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
Elsewhere in the 5A-East, Searcy hosts West Memphis, Jonesboro entertains Paragould, and Nettleton is home against Marion.
In other high school basketball, Norfork hosts Izard County, Flippin entertains Yellville-Summit, Bruno-Pyatt travels to Western Grove, Gainesville’s boys make the trip to Sparta, Lutie is home against Dora, Viola heads to Calico Rock, the Salem boys host Melbourne, St. Joe’s boys travel to Omaha, Marshall entertains Bergman, Mountain View is home against Rose Bud, Rural Special makes the trip to Hattieville to face Wonderview, Lead Hill hosts Jasper, and Valley Springs heads to Huntsville.
