A Little Rock woman, 21-year-old Mikila Thomas, has been arrested and charged following an incident in which she and another female, 25-year-old Anjanette Yancy, also of Little Rock, allegedly attempted to use stolen credit cards at a Mountain Home retailer.Thomas was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center Wednesday evening on a $75,000 bond.According to the probable cause affidavit, Thomas’ purse was found in her vehicle outside the business, after she and Yancy allegedly fled the store’s self-check register area. The two females were reportedly having issues with the credit cards they were using. When the two attempted to exit the store, Yancy was detained and questioned. Thomas allegedly fled the store.

Store video surveillance was obtained, allowing Thomas’ vehicle to be located in the parking lot. Inside the vehicle officers found a purse containing Thomas’ identification and gift cards stolen from the store. The credit cards the two were reportedly attempting to use were reported stolen from a vehicle at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

Yancy provided law enforcement with a fictitious name and date of birth and denied any involvement with the vehicle break-in.

Thomas has been charged with 17 counts of felony forgery and four felony counts of theft of property, as well as four misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief.

Following the incident in November, Yancy was also charged with the 25 offenses.  She entered a not guilty plea to the charges in a November appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court. Online records indicate her case remains open.

Total restitution in the case is $7,282.
