
Local highways continue to have some issues as some motorists return to the road on Sunday.
According to idrivearkansas.com, some of the highways in North Central Arkansas currently have ice patches. Motorists traveling on U.S. Highway 62/412 in Fulton County may see some patches on the roadway. Arkansas Highway 5 may also be patchy in Izard County, Arkansas Highway 9 from Salem to Melbourne also reportedly has ice patches, and Arkansas Highway 69 from Melbourne to Cushman may have traveling issues as well. No issues are being reported on county roads by the Baxter and Marion County sheriff’s offices, and the Mountain Home Police Department has not had any issues on city streets.
On the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Traveler Information Map, highways in Ozark County are clear. Roads in Howell and Taney counties are mostly clear, but there is precipitation partly covering highways in Douglas County.
