He’s already had surgery and will follow that with a five-week regimen of chemo and radiation. This isn’t the first health scare for the “Your Love Amazes Me” hitmaker: in 1994, he underwent surgery to remove a benign brain tumor.

Country Music Hall of Famer Maxine Brown Russell passed away Monday in Little Rock, Arkansas, from complications of kidney and heart disease. The 87-year-old was one-third of the trio The Browns, along with her brother Jim Ed and her sister Bonnie.
