Saturday’s schedule is filled with hoops as a few area teams will wrap up tournament play.
Gainesville’s boys will compete in the seventh place game of the Sparta Trojans Basketball Classic. The Bulldogs meet Lighthouse Christian at 11 a.m.
The Dora boys will compete for the championship of the Family Pharmacy Panther Classic in Mountain Grove. The Falcons face Marshfield at 7:00.
Dora’s girls will return to Mountain View, Missouri, for the Liberty Girls Tournament. The Lady Falcons take on Seymour at 2:00.
The Izard County Invitational Basketball Tournament will come to an end at Melbourne. The junior girls’ game between Mammoth Spring and Melbourne will tip off at 10 a.m., and the winner plays Rural Special at 4:00 for the title. In the remaining championship games, Calico Rock’s junior boys will be paired with Melbourne at 5:15, the Melbourne senior girls face Highland, and Calico Rock’s senior boys take on Izard County at 8:00.
Mountain Home will host a high school junior varsity boys’ jamboree. The host J.V. Bombers meet Flippin at 10:00 and Yellville-Summit at 10:40. Flippin will play Greene County Tech at 11:20, the second teams for Mountain Home and Tech will play at noon, Flippin will be matched up with Yellville-Summit at 12:40, Mountain Home faces Tech at 1:20, and Yellville-Summit takes on Tech at 2:00.
