Izard County won two of three basketball games at home Wednesday night in make up action against Omaha.
The Cougars ran their record to 31-4 with a 66-34 win as they wrapped up their sixth straight conference championship, the fifth in a row doing it undefeated. The Izard County senior boys have now won 64 straight conference games. Coby Everett had 15 points and Justus Cooper added 15.
Omaha won the senior girl’s contest 37-34. Alli Marlin paced Izard County with 10 points as they fall to 19-14.
Izard County won the junior boy’s game 49-38 to improve to 13-7. Chris Burris led the scoring with 13 points and Gunner Gleghorn scored 11.
