Boone County authorities are searching for 55-year-old Timothy William Miller, a Level 3 registered sex offender who is wanted on arrest warrants.
Boone County Sheriff Mike Moore said Miller has multiple felony warrants for his arrest, including failing to comply with his sex offender registration requirements, having an incorrect physical address on his drivers license, possession of firearms by certain persons, possession of a controlled substance, theft of property, criminal trespassing and criminal mischief.
The Harrison Daily Times reports the state alleges Miller broke into a residence on Memory Lane in Harrison and stole copper pipe in September 2018. He is charged as a habitual offender for prior felony convictions in Illinois, including aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Records indicate he was arrested Sept. 14th and posted $5,000 bond. He signed a waiver of his right to a formal reading of the warrant that day and promised to appear in court Nov. 9th.
However, he didnt appear in court, and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
Miller has brown hair, brown eyes, is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. Miller was last seen with shoulder length hair and a mustache, but he has been known to sometimes have short hair. His sex offender registry information shows his last known address was on Wilson Springs Road.
