
Big Creek Golf and Country Club held its first tournament of 2019 as the Snowman Open was played Saturday.
Andy Wescoat and Andrew Gillespie took home the victory in the Championship Flight after finishing with a nine-under-par 63. John Campbell and Brad Schulz were the runners-up at two strokes back. Stewart Rogers and Frank Davis took the tiebreaker for third place over the team of Rick Hurst and Robbie Robbins and the pairing of Todd Dunnaway and Brent Edens. All three teams ended up with a six-under-par 66.
There was a tie for first place in the A Flight after three teams shot a three-under-par 69. Tyler Wallace and Aaron Millsap won the tiebreaker, Robert Nosari and Sam Rhoades were declared the second place team, and Lewis Barnes and Kenny Newth finished third.
Two teams finished at the top of the B Flight leaderboard at even-par 72. Robin Myers and Paul Johnson won the tiebreaker over Mike Laskota and Dave Johnson. Steve and Austin Sinor broke a four-way tie for third place over Ken Love and Rick Day, Larry Zink and Rusty Landgrebe and Van Gearhart and Zach Byrd.
