In high school basketball Monday night, Cotter lost both games at Eureka Springs.
The Lady Warriors lost 55-32. The Lady Warriors fall to 12-15 on the season.
Cotter lost the boy’s contest 61-37. The Warriors are now 9-18.
The Izard County Junior High teams both had big comebacks to get wins in the opening round of the 1A-2 District Tournament at Omaha.
The Junior Cougars came from behind to defeat Western Grove 57-52. Gunner Gleghorn led the way with 20 points and Jude Everett added 17.
The Izard County junior girls were down double digits before coming back to beat Bruno-Pyatt 37-34. Ava Lewis paced the Junior Lady Cougars with 14 points.
