
Courtesy of Motown RecordsThe lineup for the CBS concert special celebrating Motown Records’ 60 anniversary, which is being taped on February 12, has been revealed — and it includes some of the label’s most famous artists.
Smokey Robinson will co-host the event, dubbed Motown 60: A Grammy Celebration, along with comedian and actor Cedric the Entertainer, while Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross and Martha Reeves are among the performers who will take part in the show.
Also on the bill are veteran artists Thelma Houston and Valerie Simpson, as well as acclaimed Motown songwriters as Lamont Dozier, Brian and Eddie Holland, and Mickey Stevenson.
In addition, plenty of contemporary artists are confirmed to perform on the special, including John Legend, Boyz II Men, Fantasia, Ne-Yo, Meghan Trainor, Chloe x Halle, Ciara, Tori Kelly, Little Big Town and Pentatonix.
The Motown 60: A Grammy Celebration concert will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles two days after the Grammys. Tickets to the taping are on sale now via AXS.com. The show will air April 21 on CBS.
