Jasper sweeps openers in junior district tourney

Jasper was able to sweep the Northwest Arkansas Classical Academy to open the 1A-1 Junior District Tournament Wednesday at Kingston. The Junior Pirates dominated the boys’ game over Junior Spartans 52-18. Jasper’s girls also routed the Northwest Arkansas Classical Academy 45-4.
