A small earthquake was recorded in Boone County early Wednesday morning. According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake measured 2.0 on the Richter Scale which means it was probably not felt.
The quake’s epicenter was nearly 12 miles north, northeast of Harrison or west of Lead Hill. The quake was recorded just before 6:00 Tuesday morning.
