The Mountain Home Junior High basketball teams had mixed results in the opening round of the Northeast Arkansas Junior High District Tournament in Jonesboro.
The Junior Lady Bombers advanced with a 30-27 win over West Memphis East. Abigail Hodges scored 10 points and Kamryn Mullin added 8.
The Junior Lady Bombers play top seeded Jonesboro Annie Camp Saturday at noon.
The Mountain Home junior boys had their season ended with a 55-46 loss to West Memphis Wonder. Cooper Oxford topped the score sheet with 22 points.
The Junior Bombers finish the year with a 4-22 record.
