
The Mountain Home High School bowling teams began the postseason in Jonesboro on Friday by competing in the 5A-East Conference Tournament at Hijinx.
The Bomber boys finished as conference champions with a total of 3,612 beating Searcy by five pins. Christian Amato led Mountain Home as a member of the All-Conference team as he finished fifth individually with an overall total of 558, including a game high of 218. Devon Lee was tenth with a 519, and Russell Sharpe ended up 11th with a 512.
The Lady Bombers took second place in the team standings with a total of 3,344. Greenbrier won the title with 3,393 pins. Dani Francl was selected All-Conference as she finished third with a total of 523, including a game high 184. Emily Belt placed 13th at 458, and Katie Criger was 19th at 430.
Both Mountain Home teams will head to Cabot on Wednesday for the Class 5A State Tournament.
