A Caulfield man was killed in a shooting incident, and another man is in custody accused of the crime. According to KYTV and KSPR, 39-year-old Nicholas Hudlow was transported Saturday night to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains where he later died, and 49-year-old Michael Chezem is in the Howell County Jail charged with second-degree murder.
Howell County deputies responded around 9:30 Saturday evening to a residence on County Road 6790 off Missouri Route E in Moody. They located Hudlow with injuries from the shooting incident.
Chezem was arrested in connection with the murder, and his bond is set at $150,000. The case remains under investigation.
