Norfork Youth Baseball and Softball are taking entry forms for their leagues. Forms must be turned in by Friday.
The leagues have several groups divided by age and gender. T-ball will be co-ed for ages four to six, and kids must be four by April 30th.
Baseball groups will be divided for boys by age groups eight-and-under, ten-and-under, 12-and-under and 13-to-15. The age will be determined on April 30th.
Softball groups will be divided for girls by age groups eight-and-under, ten-and-under, 12-and-under and 13-to-16. The age is determined by the most recent New Year’s Eve.
The cost to participate is $40. The entry fee can be paid in full at the first practice, or half can be paid at the first practice, and the second half can be paid two weeks later. A personal payment plan can also be set up with league representatives.
Anyone applying for a coaching position will be required to pass a background check. After the coaches are selected, a coaches’ meeting will be held in March before the season begins.
