A couple of area high school basketball teams secured regional tournament berths on Wednesday.
Rural Special’s girls won their first game in the 1A-5 District Tournament at Timbo. The Lady Rebels eliminated Greers Ferry West Side with a final score of 65-55.
Goblin Arena is the site for the 4A-1 District Tournament, and the host school advanced to the boys’ semifinals. Harrison picked up a 54-37 victory over Prairie Grove.
