The boil order issued Feb. 7th for the Baxter/Marion Rural Water Association has been lifted.Arkansas Department of Health information indicates the order was lifted early Friday morning.
The order was issued as a precautionary measure due to the possibility contaminated water may have entered the distribution system as a result of the partial loss in normal pressure. The pressure loss was due to a break in the main water system.
Bacteriological samples taken on Monday and Tuesday were found safe, and a satisfactory disinfectant level has been established throughout the distribution system.
