A winter weather advisory is now in effect for all of Northern Arkansas and Southern Missouri until Midnight Friday night. A mixture of rain, freezing rain and sleet is expected to continue through the evening hours.
Jeff Hood is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in North Little Rock and explains what we can expect with the weather Friday.

Up to two tenths of an inch of ice accumulation is possible across Southern Missouri.
The National Weather Service says The ice will result in very slippery conditions, especially on elevated roads and bridges. You’re encouraged to use caution when driving as road conditions may become hazardous.
