The Gassville City Council voted to take over maintenance of the 345 Spur during its regular February meeting Tuesday night. Gassville Mayor Jeff Braim says the vote came after hearing an update on the road from Arkansas Department of Transportation District Engineer Steve Lawrence.

The Gassville Council also heard a presentation from Susan Poe concerning a study about sewer rates. Mayor Braim says the city will hold a public hearing to discuss sewer rates with Gassville citizens in March.
