High school basketball schedule makes up much of the local Friday schedule as the regular season comes to an end for Mountain Home. It’s Senior Night at the Hangar as the Bombers and Lady Bombers go up against West Memphis.
After Paragould’s victory over Greene County Tech on Thursday, Mountain Home’s girls will need to win to clinch a No. 3 seed in next week’s Class 5A State Tournament. The Lady Bombers are 16-10 on the season and 8-5 in the 5A-East after they routed Searcy on Tuesday. West Memphis last beat Tech to improve to 13-10 and 6-7. Mountain Home beat the Lady Blue Devils 24-22 in the last meeting January 25th at Lehr Arena.
The Mountain Home boys are 9-16 overall and 4-9 in the league as they come off an eight-point victory at Searcy. West Memphis is 22-5 and 10-3 after beating Tech earlier this week. The Bombers fell to the Blue Devils 55-46 nearly a month ago.
