MH School Board acts on 4 retirements, 2 resignations

The Mountain Home School Board acted on four retirements and two resignations during its executive session Thursday evening.

Two teachers from the high school, Carol Wegerer and Beth Goodwin, will be retiring at the end of the 2018-2019 academic year. In addition, Cindy Childress will retire from Hackler Intermediate and Kirby Childress from Pinkston Middle School, also at the end of the academic year.

The board also accepted the resignation of high school teacher Andrew Brooks, effective at the end of the 2018-2019 contract.

The final action was the hiring of Jennifer Seaman as a teacher and director of the Mountain Home Education Foundation.
