The Mountain Home High School wrestling team began action in the Arkansas State High School Wrestling Tournament on Friday. According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, the Bombers are in 11th place in the Class 5A team standings. Hot Springs Lakeside is the current leader.
Mountain View is also taking part in the state tournament. The Yellowjackets are in a tie for tenth place with Batesville in Classes 4A/3A/2A/1A. Berryville and Shiloh Christian are tied for the lead.
The tournament concludes Saturday at the Jack Stephens Center on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Action begins at 9 a.m.
