The Cotter City Council will consider filling the vacancy created earlier this month with the resignation of Alderman Wayne Alexander when it meets Thursday evening at 6:00.Alexander cited personal reasons when he submitted his resignation. It was effective immediately.
The council has a fairly lengthy agenda before it, with three items of old business, six items of new business and 11 informational items. The informational items include the purchase of a vehicle for the police department and a tanker truck for the fire department.
The meeting will be held in the council chambers of Cotter City Hall.
