The Lady Bombers’ opening game resulted in a 40-36 victory over Sheridan. The Lady Yellowjackets scored the first two points of the game on a pair of free throws by Diamond Morris, but they were held scoreless for the rest of the opening period as Mountain Home finished with an 11-0 run. Sheridan made a comeback and cut the margin to three at the end of the first half. The Lady Yellowjackets continued to force the Lady Bombers into turnovers and built a four-point lead, but Kate Gilbert converted an old-fashioned three with 4/10 of a second remaining in the third quarter, and that began an 8-0 run for Mountain Home. Sheridan would keep the game close, but Mountain Home held on for the four-point victory.

Addison Yates led the Lady Bombers as all 11 of her points came in the final period. Diamond Morris scored 17 for the Lady Yellowjackets.

Mountain Home advances to Friday’s quarterfinal action with a record of 18-10. Sheridan’s season comes to an end at 22-5.
