High school basketball makes up much of the local Friday schedule as state tournaments continue throughout Arkansas, and Mountain Home’s girls will be at Lake Hamilton High School for the second consecutive day. The Lady Bombers will be paired with Russellville in the quarterfinals of the Class 5A State Tournament.
Mountain Home is 18-10 on the season after beating Sheridan on Thursday. Russellville is 17-10 after squeaking out a two-point win over Jacksonville on Tuesday.
This will be the second meeting between these two teams this season. The Lady Bombers fell to the Lady Cyclones 43-35 on December 20th, and Mountain Home head coach Dell Leonard says this game will be another hard-fought battle.
