Arkansas State University-Mountain Home is inviting the public to a scholarship fair Monday from 2:00 until 6:00 in the Vada Sheid Community Development Center’s McClure Convention Center. The fair is a free drop-in event, and attendees can come-and-go as they please.

Over 25 scholarship representatives will be available for questions, and a representative from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education will also answer inquiries on state scholarships. ASU-Mountain Home’s financial aid staff will assist with FAFSA questions and the completion of the application, and admissions representatives and advisors will assist students ready for admittance and registration.

ASU-Mountain Home is suggesting, but not requiring, attendees bring college transcripts, letters of recommendation, a list of accomplishments and activities in the school and community and 2017 tax returns for a student and a parent. Suggested documents for high school seniors also include ACT scores, immunization records and a high school transcript.

There will also be refreshments, a photo booth for professional and fun photos and a drawing for two $500 scholarships. For more information, contact Sherry Hughes at 870-508-6241.
