Arkansas State University-Mountain Home is preparing for its third annual Truck Party this week at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center. The event benefiting the ASUMH Foundation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 in the Sheid’s McClure Convention Center, as a 2000 Dodge Dakota 4-wheel-drive pickup truck will be given away.
Tickets for the truck, donated by Yelcot Communications and customized by Pirate Nation Custom, will be $60 per person and will include dinner and a number corresponding with a ping pong ball placed in the drawing. Businesses and individuals giving gifts or sponsorships valued at $500 or more will receive two complimentary admission tickets. All seating is open, but reserved tables of eight are available for $600.
In addition, several other smaller prizes will also be given away. Attendees are encouraged to dress casual, and a cash bar will also be available.
