A highway in Izard County will undergo a temporary closure this week. Arkansas Highway 289 near Zion will be closed beginning Tuesday morning at 8.
According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT), repairs to a double pipe culvert will get underway, weather permitting, and are expected to be complete by Friday. Traffic will be controlled during this time with signage and traffic barrels, and drivers should exercise caution when approaching the work zone.
