The high winds caused by Saturday’s storm activity caused several power outages. Power has been restored to most area residents, but there are still some local Entergy customers without power.
Entergy Arkansas had reported the storms had knocked out power to nearly 13,000 of its customers throughout the state. Just after 6 Sunday morning, over 400 customers are still without power including 13 in Marion County and one in Boone County.
North Arkansas Electric Cooperative Crews responded to wind-related outages in Baxter and Izard counties with over 860 members without power. NAEC is reporting power has been restored to all of its customers.
