The Rural Special girls’ high school basketball team fell short of a state title. The Lady Rebels fell to Wonderview 68-46 in the Class 1A championship game Saturday at Hot Springs.
Kamryn Sutterfield led Rural Special with 15 points. Faith Byers had 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Lady Daredevils as they capture their second consecutive state title.
Rural Special finishes the season at 30-12.
