MH baseball, softball teams host Paragould to start league play

Baseball and softball make up much of the local Tuesday schedule.

The Mountain Home High School baseball team begins 5A-East action as they welcome Paragould to McClain Park for a varsity doubleheader. The first game begins at 4:30 on Pitts Field.
Elsewhere, Cotter travels to Yellville-Summit, Norfork makes the trip to Brockwell to meet Izard County, Flippin hosts Decatur, Viola entertains Calico Rock, Salem is home against Rector, Marshall heads to Mountain View, Lead Hill hosts Omaha, Valley Springs travels to Green Forest for a doubleheader, and Jasper entertains Alpena.

Mountain Home’s softball team will also be at home for a conference-opening doubleheader with Paragould. The first game at Freedom Field gets underway at 4:30.
In other high school softball, Cotter makes the trip to Yellville-Summit, Norfork heads to Brockwell to face Izard County, Flippin is home against Decatur, Viola travels to Omaha, Melbourne makes the trip to Strawberry for a doubleheader with Hillcrest, Marshall heads to Mountain View, and Valley Springs travels to Green Forest.
