Collins, Jackson sign to play golf at Lyon College

A pair of Mountain Home High School golfers will continue their athletic careers on the collegiate level. Seniors Kenzie Collins and Luke Jackson signed national letters of intent to join the golf teams at Lyon College in Batesville.

Collins is coming off a season in which she led the Lady Bombers to a runner-up finish in the Class 5A State Tournament, and she is a two-time All-State selection. Collins says she is looking forward to becoming a Scot and learning from Lyon head coach Travis Lauterbach.

Jackson ended this past season as one of the top golfers in Class 5A. While Mountain Home’s boys missed the state tournament, Jackson qualified as an individual performer. He says Lyon College seemed to be the perfect fit for him athletically and academically.
