The U.S. Forest Service is continuing to prescribe burns in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forests. National forest fire managers are burning a larger portion of the Sylamore Ranger District on Tuesday.
The newest burn is being conducted on 3,712 acres of land in Baxter and Stone counties. A total of over 4,800 acres of land has been burned in the vicinity of Big Flat.
