
The Omaha High School baseball team began the spring break week in Missouri to compete in the Cassville Classic. The Eagles’ opening game was a rough one as they fell to Seneca 15-0.
Viola had a tough day on their home field. The Longhorns were edged out by Valley Springs 4-3.
Salem picked up the victory on their home turf. The Greyhounds defeated Highland by a final of 5-3.
Mountain Home’s freshmen team was able to sweep a doubleheader at West Plains.
The Junior Bombers took the first game 9-4 over the Zizzers. Reed Ellison was credited with the victory after pitching a complete game.
Mountain Home later won the finale over West Plains 5-2. Keegan Rickman was the winning pitcher after getting the start. Will Beckham finished with two doubles and two RBIs.
