Appeals court judge David ‘Mac’ Glover dies at 74

MALVERN, Ark. (AP)   David “Mac” Glover, who served on the Arkansas Court of Appeals for more than a decade, has died. He was 74.

Glover’s wife, Michele Glover, tells the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that her husband died Saturday after collapsing in their yard in Malvern. Glover had served as the Court of Appeals’ District 4, Position 2 judge, representing counties in western and southwestern Arkansas.

He was first elected to the appeals court in 2004. Before that, Glover had worked as a private practice attorney, a Hot Spring County district judge, an assistant state attorney general, as Malvern city attorney and as a deputy prosecuting attorney.
