
The Mountain Home High School baseball team picked up a pair of wins at West Memphis Tuesday.
Mountain Home took the first game 5-2. With the game tied at 2 in the top of the 6th inning, Josh Prinner belted a three-run home run that proved to be the game winner. Garrett Steelman went three for four at the plate and Trace Angst had two hits.
Will Gross got the win on the mound, working 5 1/3 innings, allowing 5 hits and striking out 7. Luke Jackson notched the save.
In the second game, Mountain Home defeated West Memphis 5-0. Satch Harris got the win for the Bombers, allowing just one hit over 6 innings and striking out 4. At the plate, Jackson went 2 for 2.
The Bombers improve to 8-3 overall and 4-0 in the 5A East. They will travel to Springfield Catholic Friday.
