Arvest Bank in Mountain Home will host a community retirement reception for David Bettenhausen Friday afternoon from 1 until 3. The event will be held at the Arvest Bank location at 2619 U.S. Highway 62 in Mountain Home.

Bettenhausen’s retirement as Arvest Wealth Management’s senior client advisor was announced earlier this month. Bettenhausen has assisted clients in Mountain Home with investment, retirement and insurance planning. He retires after 35 years in the real estate and financial services industries.

Mike Willard, president and CEO of Arvest in North Central Arkansas, says Bettenhausen has been a respected and valued asset for the bank’s customers, the community and associates in Mountain Home. Willard says bank officials understand his desire to spend more time with family, and he leaves us with our very best wishes.

Bettenhausen’s clients will see no interruption of management to their accounts, as Arvest already has welcomed a successor, Clint Morris, to this role.

Morris has worked for Arvest Wealth Management for three years and has eight years of experience as a financial services advisor. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University and holds his FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
