Sewer rates, trout festival on Cotter City Council agenda

The Cotter City Council will consider seven items of new business, including establishing sewer rates and the annual trout festival, when it meets in regular session Thursday evening at 6.Additional new items of business include replacing the police department’s policy and procedure manual, amending the 2019 operating budget, the donations of items from the American Legion and a presentation to former council member Wayne Alexander, who resigned in mid February.Under old business, the council will consider an ordinance amending a zoning regulation in the city’s municipal code.

A donation from the Cotter Fire Department Auxiliary is also on the agenda, as well as a request from the street aid commission for paving in the 2020-21 cycle and an update on the city’s planned website launch.

The meeting will be held at Cotter City Hall.
