1 building, 2 sign permits issued in MH in February

February was a relatively quiet month for the issuance of permits by the City of Mountain Home’s Building Inspection Department. Roberta Pack reports just four permits issued.

A permit was issued to Bryan Bell Construction Company on behalf of Yates Commercial Properties for an addition to JP&O Prosthetics at 14 Medical Plaza. The construction value is $650,000, with the value of the permit at $1,795.

Permits were issued for two signs. The first was issued to National Signs & Service for eight signs on the canopy over the gas pumps at Murphy USA, located at 50 North Walmart Drive, were renovation of the gas station is underway. The construction value is $16,596, with the value of the permits at $232.

The second permit was issued to Springfield Signs and Graphics for a sign to be attached to light poles at Harps Market Place/Western Union, located at 924 U.S. Highway 62 East. The construction value is $600, with the value of the permit at $20.

The fourth permit sold during February was to Kenny Stone for a driveway addition at the residence of David McDaris, located at 316 Montgomery Avenue. The construction value is $500, with the value of the permit at $10.

The cost of construction for all permits issued for the month of February totaled $667,596, with the actual cost of the permits at $2,057.

Pack reports 60 inspections were handled by the City of Mountain Home’s Building Inspection Department in February.
