Baseball and softball make up much of the local April Fools Day schedule.
In high school baseball, Bakersfield travels to Gainesville, Viola hosts Koshkonong, Salem entertains Melbourne, Mammoth Spring makes the trip to Calico Rock, Izard County heads to Newark to meet Cedar Ridge, and Jasper is home against Alpena.
Mountain Home’s freshmen squad will return to McClain Park as they take on Cave City. The first pitch at Pitts Field is scheduled for 5:00.
On the softball schedule, Flippin hosts Decatur, Yellville-Summit travels to Green Forest, Salem entertains Melbourne, and Valley Springs makes the trip to Rose Bud.
