A Blytheville man changed his plea to guilty on drug-related charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday and was put on probation for 10 years.
Twenty-one-year-old Samuel Nary was arrested, along with a number of other people, in May last year when law officers raided an apartment located along South Main Street in Mountain Home.
An investigation indicated drugs were being sold from the residence rented in Nary’s name, according to police.
When the officers entered the apartment, they found Nary and others sleeping throughout the unit. They reported the strong odor of marijuana and seeing containers of the drug and paraphernalia, including digital scales and smoking pipes.
According to the probable cause affidavit, a safe in an open closet in the living room of the apartment contained more marijuana and a handgun. Officers also seized almost $2,200 in cash found in the apartment.
