Baseball and softball make up much of the local Tuesday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School baseball team will continue 5A-East action as they welcome Jonesboro to McClain Park for a varsity doubleheader. The first game at Pitts Field begins at 4 p.m.
Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Flippin, Norfork entertains Viola, Yellville-Summit travels to Melbourne, Ozark Mountain makes the trip to Alpena, Gainesville is home against Thayer, Dora hosts Norwood, Salem heads to Newark to meet Cedar Ridge, Calico Rock travels to Brockwell to face Izard County, Marshall makes the trip to Rose Bud, Mountain View heads to Valley Springs, Lead Hill travels to Jasper, and Bergman makes the trip to Green Forest.
Mountain Home’s softball team will also be in front of the home crowd for a conference doubleheader with Jonesboro. Action gets underway at 4:30 at Freedom Field.
