Calico Rock High School senior Kenlee Killian has received a License2Howl scholarship valued at $5,000 yearly to attend Arkansas State University. Killian was one of seven chosen as a recipient from over 350 applicants across the state qualifying for the scholarship.
The Calico Rock senior was surprised with the award by Tara Thomason with the A-State Alumni Association.
The scholarship is based on academic achievement and leadership and is renewable each year.
