Jackson Browne, Bob Weir & more join Jack Johnson's BYOBottle sustainability campaign

Brandise Daneswich; Jay BlakesbergJackson Browne, The Grateful Dead‘s Bob Weir and Weir’s current group Dead & Company are among the environmentally conscious artists to sign on for BYOBottle, a sustainability campaign launched by Hawaiian singer/songwriter Jack Johnson. The initiative promotes reusable water bottles and water refill stations at concerts, festivals and other music events.

Other artists who’ve joined the campaign include E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt, Bonnie Raitt, Dave Matthews Band, Wilco, Maroon 5, Pink, The Lumineers and Ben Harper.

In addition, a variety of popular festivals have signed on to participate, including Lollapalooza, the Austin City Limits Music Festival, Sea Hear Now, Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, The Ohana Fest and Bluesfest Byron Bay.
