The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas and Arvest Bank set a new record as they held their fourth-annual one-day fundraising blitz in Baxter and Marion counties in support of the Food Bank’s Backpack Program. Friday’s Feed the Pack event resulted in $25,002 in donations allowing the food bank to provide 125,010 meals to food-insecure children throughout the Twin Lakes Area.
Collections for Feed the Pack were accepted throughout various locations in Mountain Home, Gassville, Flippin, Bull Shoals and Yellville. The staff at Arvest Bank was thankful to everyone who donated and made it possible to reach past the $20,000 goal.
